Introduction: It has been eight months since I posted my last blog to this website, and eight months prior that post, this website wasn't created then! My TR3X Productions channel on YouTube was inactive from June to August 2022 because of a copyright strike from PBS Kids, and all my videos were private until the strike expired some days before Thursday 1st September 2022. I went through my videos to set them back to public, and I brought back some videos that have been private for many years; some of these include Reaching 1000 Subs :D (Feat. CoolCamGaming88) - YouTube , List of Structures in Herefordshire - YouTube , List of Castles in Wales - YouTube and more.

I was watching a few episodes of my Logo Livestream series from 2016, and I saw myself looking at the Botany Bay page on the Musto Graphics Collection wiki. It was created using Wikifoundry, which hosted many wikis such as Closing Logos Group. Wikifoundry ceased operations in June 2021, and therefore all wikis created on Wikifoundry were discontinued (with the exception of two wikis, according to WikiFoundry | Logopedia | Fandom). My website was archived on the Wayback Machine on Internet Archive by my brother Dylan from April 2017 to February 2017. The screenshot above is (https://web.archive.org/web/20210226224753/http://fabiananddylanslogos.wikifoundry.com/).

There were many pages on the wiki, such as TR3X Productions, Botany Bay Pictures, Thundercat Pictures, etc. Coincidentally, when I last looked at my Wikifoundry website on Sunday 9th October 2022, it showed a blank page. Two days later, as seen in the screenshot to the left, the pages on Wikifoundry loaded!
This Musto Graphic Collection series will take a look at my fictional companies in detail, and I will transfer some of the pages from the Wikifoundry website to my Wix website. I will begin with...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3 Penguins:

This company was created by me on Saturday 20th May 2017, and in fiction, the company was established in 1978. The logo to the left was used from 1980 to 82, and as innocent as the logo appears, they released video-nasties and rip-offs of famous films. A pre-cert company, they released Scooby Doo and the Eye in 1982. This became their infamous work of all time, and this introduced the "believe in the eye" slogan that has become a meme with my friends over the following years. This slogan was created by my brother Dylan on Sunday 4th June 2017, when he created a fictional VHS opening to Scooby Doo and the Eye.

The company, based in the United Kingdom of Mustoland (my fictional country consisting of Preece and Rhys), was sued by Hanna-Barbera of the United States of America in August 1982. Scooby Doo and the Eye was the biggest project by 3 Penguins as it had been in the works since 1978, the year said company was founded. After the Video Recordings Act 1984 was introduced, many of the pre-cert companies in Mustoland were defunct.

However, the founder of Omega Video (the infamous "home-media" spin-off division of /OMEGA) revived 3 Penguins with the permission of the two people that founded said company in 1978. This was because Omega Video, also founded in 1978, was sued by /OMEGA in 1984 when they borrowed the logo symbol from said company in said year.

The company was re-established in 1985, and they now specialise in television production. The company produced the 3 Penguins Show from 1985 to 2000, and was filmed at the 3 Penguins World, a theme-park in Sudrian, Preece, that now has a hotel called the 3 Penguins Hotel, which opened in 2006. The company was bought by Churchment in 2010.

TRIVIA: The slogan used by 3 Penguins, believe in the eye, became a trend with my friends from 2017 to 20 (it might still be a trend now). Skyler Mcfadden - YouTube created a model of the 3 Penguins on Blender during May 2018, which can be seen to right.
-The models in the 3 Penguins logo are from the DYTOY Penguin Race set. I first saw them in the 2000s while watching Baby Beethoven - Baby Einstein. I bought them on Amazon in 2014, because I saw them at a shop in real-life in 2013, but that said shop shut down later that year.

3 Penguins Films Limited:

The company of 3 Penguins released many VHS tapes from 1980 to 82, and they were sold in high numbers as their releases were low budget in content and interest. This gave them the ability to start work on their first film, Scooby Doo and the Eye. The film also had backing from several film companies in Mustoland, one of which was Avatar.

The story and aftermath of the film is described in the 3 Penguins page. There was a commissioned ident for the film, which has a duration of twenty-five seconds. It begins with a red flash, which is plastered by a painting of the red penguin (trivia: this was painted with acrylic paint on cel by my brother Dylan).

This was described as an "acid penguin trip" by the two founders of 3 Penguins and those working on the film, and the ident was unused. Despite this, it is viewed as one of the funniest Mustoland idents of all time.
This was created by me on Friday 20th April 2018 on BluffTitler, and the animated idents on the 3 Penguins page were also made on BluffTitler. BluffTitler | 3D intro video maker app for Windows (outerspace-software.com)

21st Century Cox:

This parody on 20th Century Fox was created by my aunt and uncle in Summer 2007, and this debuted on a DVD-R featuring the Musto family at West Midland Safari Park. The logo, seen to the left, was shown in the DVD, and this looks like it was made on Windows Live Movie Maker. The animation featured the text zooming-in, with duplicated text behind (transparent) continuing to zoom in as the main text finishes animating.

I remember seeing the first logo as a child in the 2000s, and this interested me to make it in the style of the 20th Century Fox logo. There was a template of said logo on Blender in 2016 (not sure who it was made by), and my only effort to the file was replacing the 20th Century Fox text with 21st Century Cox! Strangely, I added this byline; A TR3X Productions Company. The reason behind this is because I did not know how to get rid of text in Blender, and six years on, I do not know how to use Blender! This logo made no appearances since this was made for fun, and this dates from Saturday 10th September 2016 (finished at 22:30 / 10:30pm). TRIVIA: This company, like the rest featured in this list, is fictional, but is the only fictional company in this list created by my aunt and uncle and was founded in 2007. This parody of 20th Century Fox is not related with the 21st Century Cox - YouTube channel.

3M The Moon Productions:

Here is one of my oldest companies, which was a joint venture with 3M Video. This was created on Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, a software I used to animate my idents from 2012 to 17 (I still use it as an alternate to BluffTitler, but I now use new versions of Microsoft PowerPoint). Fictionally, the joint venture was established in 1997.

They released two films that date from November 1997 and August 1998, and they were box-office disasters. The company went defunct in November 1998. Despite the company is long-gone, their second film, the adventure film Battleships, has gained interest in recent years after it was released on DVD by Trex DVD and the Moon Productions Home Entertainment in 2015. The logo from 3M Moon Productions has zoom-in text, and the triangles and text in them spin in and out
(There is another triangle layer in the first segment but does not reappear in the second segment). The addition of "Time for our Feature Presentation" feels out-of-place in a movie logo, more fitting for home video. I got the 3M text from 3M Video, since I watched that logo many times in 2015; the audio from their logo can be heard in a Moon Productions logo from July 2015.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5O Eighty Television:

5O Eighty Television (not 50 Eighty Television) was established in 1961 to specialise in television production. They co-produced the Western television series Old West with Steven Amor Productions and Fabian Television from 1961 to 64. They went defunct in 1964, and all their logos on the DVD release of Old West are plastered by Grey Bird Pictures. The logo consists of a pie chart writing in, with the text appearing after the animation is complete. This logo was animated by me on PowerPoint on Sunday 19th June 2016.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Albert Truman Films:

This film company was founded in 1903 by Albert Truman, who began his film career as a script writer for the films of Jan Leonard, Loy Dobson and Jay Norman. Albert Truman Films specialised in adventure and thriller films, and gained a national success with Robinson Crusoe's Isle in 1922. The company went defunct in 1935, after Albert Truman passed away from pneumonia on Friday 28th June 1935. He was born on 30th September 1863.

I created the ident for Albert Truman Films on Thursday 28th June 2018, and can be seen in the picture above. This was used from 1931 to 35. Some weeks later, I created a newsreel card for MBC News, based in the style of a British Pathé newsreel card from the 1960s. This was going to be a series on my second YouTube channel for TR3X, but this never happened. The first idea in mind of an episode was Albert Truman Films, seen to the right.

Edit (12/10/22): While I was looking at my old Dell laptop (Windows 10), I found a rare ident I made for Albert Truman Films, dating from Sunday 1st April 2018 (this was used in 1903). The ident card above, based on the British Pathé ident card from the early 1960s, was also created on that date.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Albright Hussey Pictures:

Albright Hussey Pictures was established in 1986, and they released one film that was released on VHS by Buttons Video. The company takes its name from a brick timber-framed building on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. There is no animation in the ident. The ident, made on PowerPoint, dates from Monday 23rd January 2017. The picture of the building has a paint strokes filter applied to it (on PowerPoint).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alfred Hitchcock:

There was a popular anthology television series in America that ran from 2nd October 1955 to 26th June 1965... this was Alfred Hitchcock Presents, which aired on CBS - Wikipedia and NBC - Wikipedia. The show was picked up by MBC in Mustoland in 1962, and it became a hit there too. A television production company was established in March 1963, taking its name from the English filmmaker. This company produced a string of television shows, specialising in Western, black comedy, thriller and sitcom. The company was defunct in 1965, after the founder of the company refused a pay cut from the many shows he created. The animation in the logo is the Alfred Hitchcock silhouette fading in, with the text wiping in. After a few seconds, the text floats out and the silhouette flies out to the left. This was created on PowerPoint on Friday 28th August 2015.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber Productions:

This company was created by my old friend at high school, who named it after his cat. This company produced many of the comics he wrote in 2016, and I do not remember what they were based on (one I can think of is Spiderboy). It is owned by Sandy Pictures, a dog he owned that passed away by the time Amber Productions was created in 2016. Fictionally, Amber Productions was founded in 1932. They were one of the first established film companies in Mustoland to feature optical sound-on-film in their films, since optical sound-on-film was developed in Mustoland during the 1920s. Amber Productions released animated musical and ninja films from 1932 to 1956, and they rarely released live-action films. They were defunct in 1956, when the founder and CEO of the company left the company. The company was revived three decades later in 1986, when the founder of Amber Productions promised his son that his film company would be brought back if his television shows were becoming more successful than his films from 1932 to 56. The company still produces animated films, and they are one of the leading animation companies in Mustoland. They have been owned by Sandy Pictures since 1996. The ident for Amber Productions was made on Thursday 23rd March 2017, and this was one of my first animations on BluffTitler.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber Television Network:

The founder and CEO of Amber Productions was keen to get involved in television before it became popular, and he managed to create his television network in September 1949. Named after his film production company, this television network aired from 8am to 8pm. They aired the animated movies from Amber Productions, and they also aired game shows and sitcoms. Cavalcade of Stars and Cavalcade of Bands were two of the most popular shows on the network. The network went off the air in 1956, when the founder took a long break from his work. He brought back the network for its eleventh anniversary in September 1960 but chose not to bring back his film company until "the time when my television shows are more successful than my films". The animated ident for Amber Television Network dates from Tuesday 26th June 2018, and features the Krunch font. Video: Amber Television Network (2018 | FAKE) - YouTube
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber Television:

With the success of Amber Television Network and Amber Productions, a television division of Amber Productions was created. Amber Television, founded in 1996, creates animated shows and shorts of various genres. One of their biggest successes is Mario Adventures, which has been running since September 2016. This was a show me and my friend (the real-life founder of Amber Productions) did at high school from September 2016 to January 2017. There was a second season in February 2017, but there were two episodes unlike the twenty episode in Season One (some of the episodes were replays and might have totalled to fifty episodes!). The logo above dates from Thursday 22nd September 2016, and this was my first logo for Amber. Despite this, the cat breed featured in the logo is inaccurate. I will remake this logo in the future.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Angrybirdfunnies:

This was a friend of mine from Go!Animate in mid-2015, who subscribed me on YouTube in mid-2015. This ident was uploaded to my TR3X YouTube channel before I deleted all my uploads in early October 2015. The text, made in Cool Text Graphics & Logo Generator, flies in from the right, and reappears after the first animation flies to the left. The avatar of Angrybirdfunnies fades in at the end, and this was created using Lil Peepz on Go!Animate. This was created on Sunday 27th September 2015 at 16:54 / 4:54pm and was uploaded to YouTube around 19:05 / 7:05pm. I remember that he commented and enjoyed the ident.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AMM Corporation:

Founded in 1983, this company specialises in 35mm films and is owned by Zodiak Cameras of Sudrian (founded in 1953). This company was created as a joint venture with TR3X, IsaacMedia and SLN! Media Group - YouTube on Tuesday 30th August 2016. This joint venture did not last long, and the legacy it leaves is a cheesy ident that features repeated animation of stretched AMM Corporation text flying in from the top-left to bottom-right. The ident, created on PowerPoint, was made on the same day it was established. Looking back on this six years later, this joint venture did not age well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anthony Video:

This company was the home-media division of Anthony TV, founded by IsaacMedia. This company released films from companies that partnered with Isaac TV. Established in 1987, the company went defunct in 1993. The ident for Anthony Video was created on Sunday 4th December 2016, and the background is the same background featured in the TR3X/Isaac Industries ident from August 2016. The font featured in the ident is BBC 2 Old by Lyric.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aridia:

This company was not created by me, it was created by a member of the Powerhouse of Entertainment as a parody of Microsoft. The POE (abbreviation of said group) was an entertainment group that lasted from December 2014 to January 2020. The logo to the right was not created by me, but I did create some cards for the early operating systems by Aridia.

These were created on Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 on Monday 1st May 2017. Note the fourth title card, which resembles the 1987 to 2012 logo by Microsoft. The first three title cards resemble the 1982 to 1987 Microsoft logo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arrow Productions:

This television production company was established in 2006, co-producing a few sitcoms with several television companies. The ident for Arrow Productions was created by me on Monday 22nd December 2014. The animation consists of several mouse cursors flying in from the bottom-right, and the text Arrow Productions splits in from the centre. This is one of my earliest idents, and the original PowerPoint file was titled CRAZY!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ashton Varela Entertainment:

This logo has never been seen before, and this was not included in the TR3X Logo Reel of the 2010s video. Made on Thursday 1st November 2018, this was presumably made for a fan of my logo channel. I do not know who Ashton Varela is, and the name might have been an idea that came in my mind.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Associated British Cinemas:

This company was a cinema chain in the United Kingdom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated British Picture Corporation. Founded in 1927, it operated between the 1930s and the 1980s. The last ABC Cinema, in Westover Road, Bournemouth (England), closed on Wednesday 4th January 2017. This was revived by me (fictionally) in May 2017.

I created two idents for my revival in said month, and these had complex animation for my humble standards on BluffTitler; I had begun using it in the past few weeks! There are some animation errors, like the CINEMA text for example, and the shapes of the logo symbol crash into each other at certain points.

Three years later in October 2020, I reanimated the ident for ABC Cinemas. The particle layer with the shapes trailing from the left to right is a neat feature, and the reflection map on the text is retro. The logo symbol is fixed here, because the red shape in the 2017 idents is zoomed in. I prefer the use of Agency FB font in this ident. There are some ABC Cinema chains in Mustoland, including one at Marcleston (I will look at that building in a future blog)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atlantic Films:

Some of the workers at Loki-Atlantic Pictures formed Atlantic Films after said joint venture went defunct in 1972. They released thirteen films, all of which are forgettable. The company folded into Loki Pictures in 1978. This ident dates from Sunday 26th August 2018, and the A trails in from the top-left.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Avatar Pictures:

This is one of the oldest film companies in Mustoland that is still running, and this was established in 1904 by Francesco Russo. Born in Italy, he had a passion for art and was a follower of avant-garde from the early 1910s. Avatar Pictures specialised in thriller and adventure films when they were established, but they extended their range to various genres by the turn of the 1920s. They began making short films on avant-garde as early as 1918,

and this helped them become one of the most popular film companies in Mustoland. They gradually got to the decision of releasing their first avant-garde film in 1940, Symphony of the Avant-Garde Machines. This mystery adventure silent film is one of the most distinctive films in Mustoland cinema, and many companies made parodies of the film in the following decades, from television to home-media to video on demand.

The company was bought by Thundercat Pictures in 2004, the centenary of Avatar Pictures. This was also the year when Thundercat rebranded the company from Avatar Pictures to Avatar. This company was created by me on Sunday 17th April 2016, where I created a simple ident on PowerPoint (picture to left). In Mustoland, this ident has been used for Avatar since 1990. On Sunday 25th June 2017, three months into me using BluffTitler, I decided to make a logo history on Avatar on Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. These logos have not been uploaded to YouTube yet, but the logos date from; 1904 to 20, 1920 to 33, 1933 to 45, 1945 to 54, 1954 to 75, 1975 to 90, 1990 to present.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Awesome Logo Effects Television

This company co-produced a sitcom with Arrow Productions in 2008. The ident I created, dating from Sunday 2nd July 2017, has "awesome logo effects" I guess? The name of the company spins around many times, as it zooms out from the centre of the screen. When it finishes animating, the plasma begins to animate, and the bottom text is questionable... "but this is pointless .-.". This logo did not appear in my TR3X Logo Reel from the 2010s video.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion: This first episode of the Musto Graphics Collection series took me six hours to write (with breaks in between), and looking back at my idents and logos were enjoyable. I will continue to look at more idents and logos of mine in the next episodes, as I will look at companies beginning with the letter B. Stay tuned for that episode, which I will try to release later this month. Until then! :-)
